Glenn Beck is encouraging Ted Cruz's supporters to write to the senator and show their appreciation for the "stand for principles over party" the former presidential candidate took at the 2016 Republican National Convention. The talk show host praised Cruz's "brave and admirable choice," but said "it came with a price."
"At the end of his speech, his wife Heidi had to be removed from the convention floor as an angry crowd closed in on her, yelling and calling her names. In the days following his speech, Ted has likely faced soul-searching moments about his decision to stand and defend the Constitution he loves so much."
Beck has offered the services of his staff at Mercury Radio Arts to collect and forward letters of support to Sen. Cruz "thanking him for his bravery and character." They will collect the correspondence and pass it along to Cruz and his family. Here's the address:
